Alright peeps. I’ve been meaning to write this post for a long time but it actually disgusts me to think about that topic more than necessary so I waited for about 2 years. But now it simply needs to get out.

A lot of people here are obsessed with fingernails. Seriously. And no, not only girls. But one step after the other…

1.) Girls & styling

I somehow get that girls wanna style everything – also their fingernails. We have that in other countries as well (and I never like it) but over here it’s even more. The fingernails are longer and more ‘stylish’ and worked on than you can imagine. One of the biggest turn offs when seeing a cute Thai girl is realizing she’s having those mega super styled long fingernails. Wuah!

2.) The guys & non styling

Yep, Guys have long fingernails too. And dude…unbelievably long. Similar to women who don’t style but simply let them grow…it is disgusting – that’s maybe only my opinion, but hey…it’s a personal blog here. So those dudes (and women) have those mega long fingernails and everybody’s cool with it. Like even the cashier at the local supermarket, bus driver, etc…

As mentioned above they aren’t even styled or taken care off. It’s just plain ugly and, once more, disgusting. I still don’t get it (even though some people believe that long fingernails mean a long life – so I get the idea, don’t know why this should be related though).

Sure everybody is entitled to his own style – it just keeps freaking me out!
