Over the past few weeks the search queries aiming on ‘jobs in thailand’ and ‘how to find jobs in thailand’ have been increasing on this site so I thought I’ll give it a shot and explain quickly some of the best ways to find jobs in The Land Of Smile.
Like in the western world, the internet is the place to go especially if you are not able to read Thai newspapers. English language newspaper postings are usually also available online. So let’s check some of the best online boards to check for jobs.
Famous job board for South East Asia. Hosts a lot of different jobs for all of South East Asia, offers also information about offering companies and direct contact possibilities or email addresses. Huge job database. Number one spot to check for jobs of all kinds.
Doesn’t look that great at the moment but I am just setting this page up. I will add everything one needs to know about teaching in Thailand and where to look for jobs. Links to the most important job boards are already added so if your in the need for a teaching job feel free to have a closer look or even submit your CV. Layout will be improve over the next weeks.
Linkedin is of course nothing special but is being used and accepted more and more all over Thailand. Especially when companies are looking for foreign employees they rely on linkedin since we, the foreigners, usually know and use this network way more than Thai people. So maintain your current profile, update it accordingly and check the job openings here as well.
Knowing the right people
No brainer. like everywhere else. Vitamin B rules, in Thailand even more.
